Hey all, a friend of mine is likely picking up a 582 powered Kitfox sometime soon and is worried about the reputations of a lot of two strokes. It seems to me that they’re popular enough to not be too bad but that they likely need to be treated like a Rotax and not, say, a Continental. I don’t really know though.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get a long, reliable service life out of a Rotax?
