Been considering making the form to allow molding a set of leading edge skins for the 56" chord MiniMax, Legal Eagle, Air bike, Cloudster, Zing, Ragwing wings. All of them have strong Wayne Ison genetics, all are double strut braced so the leading edge wrap is less likely to be a required structure.
This allows elimination of multiple scarfs and easy installation of foam intermediate skin stiffeners before bonded installation.
Looking at 3 ply 45/90/44 layup of 1581/7781 glass.
Want to hear specific reasons not to do this.
