Just to make this discussion easy let’s assume an engine with a TBO of 2000 hours?
What do you consider it to be worth by percentage of TBO left ?
With 1000 hours left would it be worth half of a new one or would it be worth half of Cost of rebuild
If it’s got 200 hours left is it worth 10% of the new cost or the rebuilt cost?
Or do you figure something else?
