For years John Williams attempted to get the T-51’s cowling just right. As you know, it’s a series of compound curves and is difficult to fabricate without using an English Wheel. Mine is very close, but not perfect.
He bought a Stewart Mustang so he could make a mold of the cowling, and then upscale it to the Titan Mustang. The new cowl is all fiberglass.
The result is impressive. Wish I had it on mine.
