Last night I disassembled the Stromberg carburetor from my Parrakeet. I was unable to get everything apart, some things, like the venture and main jet are stuck and I didn't want to damage anything trying to force it. Today I'll check the float level (have to run out for a pipe elbow for the test rig) and if it's OK I'll put it together without attempting to dive deeper into it. If I do need to adjust the float level, hopefully the needle seat will come out and I'll attempt to lap the needle while it's out, it has the usual Stromberg drool. Any carburetor experts here?
