OpenPPG is shipping their new 4.7 kWh battery, compatible with their most recent existing PPGs (but not my first gen one).
Video shows a smooth-air full duration test, looks like a valid test -- trimmers are in on the wing, not trimming for min sink or anything silly, landing altitude close to take off, etc. Cruise performance maintained for 81 minutes, which is significantly more than I would have guessed.
Still more weight than I'd love on my back, but I say that about all PPGs, so... And 81 minutes. I'm at least somewhat tempted to get one... again.
