I opened the hangar door today and noticed something off about the plane we share the space with. Normally there's a red Fairchild 24R-46 sitting in the corner. As I walked in today I noticed it was way closer to our plane than normal. Then I noticed it was tri-gear and not a taildragger and thought, that's odd, they swapped the gear over? Wait, is that a radial? And a biplane? It took entirely too long to realize one red vintage plane had been swapped for another. Since the configuration is so odd I figured some of you would appreciate a picture. It's deceptively big in person. Also note the towel on the Piper's tail, because the radial is parked right above it and it's still letting everyone know there's oil in it... hah. I also saw a for sale sign on it, in case anyone is interested. Now I wonder what happened to the Fairchild. Waco 1.jpgWaco 2.jpg
