Having a brand new engine, what is the best fastest way to seat the rings?
With a car you accelerate up to a good cruise speed, then take your foot off the gas and allow the engine braking to slow you down. Then repeat. I have done this with great success several in new vehicles.
How can this be replicated in an airplane? Can we go WOT / Max RPM, and then power back and "coast" for a while?
