I suspect it’s home brewed but before I try selling it for bottom dollar or hauling it to the scrap man, is this a known Subaru conversion or some kind of home brew?

I don’t know anything about the engine itself other than it looks to have been installed pretty well as-removed from the car. The valve covers are cast and say “16 Valve” on them. The PSRU has a cog belt and without counting teeth it looks to be 2:1.

Far as I know it’s never flown, and it never will in my care. I’m just curious if it’s a known conversion or some guy’s one-off guess at what might work.

Once I know what it is I can list it for sale… probably cheap.
