Lycoming built this engine years ago for a drone program. It was briefly included in a press release, and web page which both quickly disappeared.
Since then I have periodically checked Lycoming's website.
And now this diesel engine is back. https://www.lycoming.com/engines/del-120

So, is this for drones only? will it get certified? Can E-A/B use it?

I would hazard a guess that this has been in production and used in some DoD drones for a long while; but no idea of volume. How does it compare to old IO-360 or DH-180?
