What's a good way to make logo graphics to put on a plane?

I've used the available sticker material for inkjet printers, sold for bumper stickers. It works "OK" but starts fading before too long, not something you'd want for a permanent application to your airplane. I'm guessing (hoping) that a commercially produced one would hold up better to weather and UVB?

I've had good results with cut vinyl stickers (e.g. Cricut), but while they're great for simple shapes and single colors, they don't work as well for multiple colors and complex shapes.
