Looks like I’m going to be making an aileron for a Fly Baby soon. I have the drawings and the other side (which I’m repairing - hangar rash on a project started three decades ago and a thousand miles away) and I have a good idea of how I’d do it but I’m curious if there’s a better way.
Right now I’m thinking of using this TE as a pattern to make the jig then stacking however many full depth strips it will take and knocking it down to final cross section with a block plane. Is there a smarter way?
