One of our customers was a victim of recent flooding in NC. His RV-10 was submerged under 10 feet of muddy water for several days.

As he was assessing damage yesterday he thought he'd try powering up various things. Surprisingly the SDS booted up despite the programmer screen still being filled with water:

This means both the ECU and programmer were still able to operate at some level. Obviously it wasn't designed for this environment...
