I really like the way this Sandlin Goat that Mac Hodges added an engine to turned out. Does anyone know about this project? Was Mac quite happy with the flying characteristics? Is it still flying?

I bought plans for the Zigolo MG12, but discovered after I did that they aren't building plans, they are assembly plans for the kit. They're terrific plans, but I don't think they could be used to make parts. Obviously, Mike Sandlin has everything to build the Goat, but adding the engine is a bit intimidating to me. I'm not a designer. Thanks!
