How do you evaluate the danger of corrosion? Let’s take an aluminum standard airplane like a 182 and you look at it and there is some corrosion at the lap joint. You can see a little corrosion. A little bit of paint is missing.
. A little bit of corrosion is obvious is that dangerous? Is there a way to tell how far it goes back into the lap joint? Is that dangerous? Is there a way to tell if it’s dangerous?
What’s the best way to go about removing that corrosion that’s obvious on the surface? What about the corrosion that’s not so obvious between the lap joints?
