Most of me is in IL but my hearts in Alaska
Tricycle gear aircraft like most fixed gear airplanes are known to flip when landing on water.
All the videos I have seen has been somebody trying to hold the nose gear up as long as possible, and then when it drops it catches and flips the airplane .
Has anyone done the opposite the nose end of the water first?
