DG1 - More musings from a bored engineer

Like the title says...anyways, way back when, I purchased Plans for the KR2, then updated to KR2S when it was released. I soon determined that wood was not my cup of tea and abandoned the project. My brother and I both purchased Sonex plans and the formed aluminum kits in early 2000's. Well into the builds my brother passed from cancer and I had to sell his kit, it wasn't long after I sold mine. I have always loved the KR series size/looks and the Sonex simplicity. Over the last few years I purchased Dan Raymer's - Simplified Aircraft Design For Homebuilders, Peery's - Aircraft Structures, Thurston - Design For Flying and Design For Safety, Tony Bingelis - Sportplane Construction Techniques and Firewall Forward, not sure why I did except that I must be a fan of flying things

So in boredom I have finished my Pober Pixie 2" stretch CAD project and needed something else to occupy my time. Using my outdated 2017 SolidWorks Premium CAD program I started sketching DG1 with Dan Raymer's formulas and have my first drawing concept. I've tried to keep it small and simple and have come to chapter 7 where preliminary sizing is discussed and that's where I'm at. VW based 80hp, my pilot is 6' with 18' span and 18' length.

Seems at this point I need to determine the spar arrangement to keep moving toward Peery Structures. I was thinking about an RV type main spar arrangement but I don't know the details. Can anyone share any drawing views so that I can get an idea of how it's constructed? TIA
