This is in relation to a Mitchell Wing B10 but I suppose the same question could be asked of the Minmax, Legal Eagle, Ragwings, etc...

What should the gap clearance on the control surface / horns be?

The plans noted (from memory) no more than a 1/64" max clearance between the spar fittings where the wing folds.
Again, from memory, a single strip of masking tape was used and the wing fits beautifully - but it doesn't move.

Nothing in the plans for elevons and how tight they should ideally be.
Don't want them too tight that they bind.
Don't want them too loose that the elevon floats around a lot.
Not sure what is optimal and what I should be aiming for - plans silent and I'm clueless about this :)

Attached 3 pics from another B10 and I'm at the stage of having to glue and bolt the "L" brackets to the elevon spar now...
AN4 bolts if that makes any difference....
My thanks
