By chance, I found an ad on Facebook Marketplace for a Wizard weight-shift ultralight last evening. Took another look at the ad this morning. Mentioned it to my wife at lunch who offered no objection. It was located at a ultralight airstrip about 1 1/2 Hr. away, where I had my MiniMAX a number of years ago. I contacted the seller and made arrangements to look at it this evening, made an offer that was accepted and have a month to disassemble it and haul it home. Lots of tubes and cables! I hope I can get it back together when I get it home. I had a plane-building friend with me who stayed neutral during the buying process but said he thought I did OK as we were driving back.

Seems like a good way to get in the air to fly around the patch on the cheap. I hope it will deliver what I'm expecting of it which is just to get in the air. Wish me luck!

Lynn
