Hello. Will run some number of equivalen spruce stringer in composite and steel. Both on real size of section and beam lenght.

Situation - we can see fully skin loaded solution for all proposed material - composite, wood steel / aluminium. But for wood and steel more common solution is rigid skin with some longerons.
Question - composite panels of 5mm thickness with some ud in most critical parts is on skin only solution side ? Or hided longerons ?

I do not see a reason why not to use some foamed pe rods and make 30x30 spruce longeron equivalent in cf with same or better mechanical properties and tailored there needed. But it unseen mostly, and looks purelly as black wood solution.
