I was just playing around with an XFLR5 model for the Horten PUL10.

It appears that the cabin/canopy/engine pod may have some function in determining the lateral stability.

The XFLR5 model was laterally unstable until I added a small fin to simulate the engine pod/cabin. Then it became, well lets say marginally acceptable.

Is this possible? Too bad XFLR5 does not like to do the stability analysis with the fuselage defined.

Comments?? Norm, are you hanging around here?
