Has anybody pondered the use of a Jeep 4.0L Inline 6 as an airplane engine? I'm in the unusual position of needing a heavy engine that can swing a relatively large prop on an as-of-yet unbuilt WWI fighter. The engine, in stock form puts out 230 ft/lbs of torque at 3000 RPM. They also make stroked versions, but I haven't been able to find a power curve for them. Anybody here know what these things weigh? Dimensions? Thanks for any help. ---Nick
