Hanger

In 1988 we bought our 30 acres near Galesburg in south east Kansas. In 1989 I built my hanger 32'X42'.
Over the years water leaked in to the door and saturated the fiberglass insulation. So the wood frame rotted and it wasn't safe to operate the door. So my summer project was to build a new door.
The original door was in 2 half's and counterbalanced I would operate it by hand. I am getting to old to lift the door so this time I made it in one peace and electric powered.
When I first built it I considered making it electric but I was flight instructing a lot. Manny times at some point before a storm would actually threaten us the electricity would go off then an hour later we would get stormed on. So I didn't want to be out flying beat a storm home and then not be able to open my hanger door.
