Hi, I'm considering building a plane, and since I live outside the USA I can either build it under the rules of the local country, or preferably, under FAA rules. I am curious if anyone else has done this, and in fact, if it is even allowed. I believe it is possible to ship the plane back to the USA for the inspection, but that's kind of expensive. If anyone has any experience in this area, it is most welcome! Thanks!
