Thimbles for galvanized cable?

If I go with galvanized cable for internal wing bracing (a bit stronger than SS and no need to look pretty), am I better off using cadmium plated or SS thimbles? I ask because we normally think of SS as the best against corrosion, but I notice in the galvanic tables that cadmium is a better match with zinc in terms of bi-metallic potential. I have no direct experience.
