Hi,
I'm new to working with 4130, please excuse this elementary question. I'm cutting, grinding and cleaning parts that will eventually be painted (no other processing). It may be some weeks/months before I get to painting. I was thinking to give the fresh cleaned surfaces a coat of etch primer so that I don't have to clean them again, and can paint straight over. Any reason not to do that? Any primer recommendations?
Thanks,
Jon
