The following quote from this article sounds promising:

Yamaha has turned its attention to designing and building high output electric motors that are as small and light as possible. It will soon offer a range of motors with 35 kW to 200 kW of power. The smaller motors are intended for use in motorcycles, but the more powerful motors are suitable for automotive applications. Yamaha says it can adapt the design of its interior permanent magnet synchronous motors to fit the needs of virtually every vehicle manufacturer.

35 kW to 200 kW equates to 47 hp to 268 hp.

C'mon you high energy-density batteries!
