The Olympic 2 RC sailplane has the wing tips turned upward, while the Cessna 177 Cardinal (in some versions) has down turned tips.


I still have mine, by the way (Olympic 2, not Cessna that is:dis:). Had a lot of fun with it 25 or so years ago.

Any difference in performance? Which is 'best' (what ever that means!)?

Or is the Hoerner tip better than either?
