Unfortunately details are limited but the wings are in near perfect condition. They were bought as an extra set while the builder completed one of the most beautiful aircraft I've ever seen and flown. His Express was initially a demonstrator for Wheeler and crashed during a hard landing. The owner bought two sets of wings during the rebuild and these were not used. They were stored in the hanger and never completed or installed. Equally sad, his beautiful Wheeler Express crashed and was destroyed on a ferry flight for avionics work by a professional pilot ferrying the plane. Sad again, the owner has had serious medical issues, no longer flies, and has memory issues that have mad details of the wings difficult to obtain. If you are considering a Wheeler Express project, these are well worth looking at.
