I know there were at least a couple popular twin engine ultralights, the Kolb Flyer, and the Lazair. I don't recall if either of those could maintain altitude on one engine, though I'd doubt they could.

With the engines we have available today, is there any chance of making a Part 103 legal UL with twin engines that could at least maintain altitude on one engine? I'm thinking the only option might be a pair of Polinis. Bonus point for being near centerline thrust. Double bonus points for realistic folding wings.
