I would like to install a Beacon Light on my vertical stabilizer. Has anyone done this already?
If so, how did you mount it? Could some of you please direct me to some gallery pics? Is
the vertical fin the best place to mount this light, or is another place better? Thanks!

Hi Ronnie,
here is a picture of a PA18 (my friends), mount with a LED Electronic Rotating Beacon.
The mounting plate is only a sheet of metal, welded on the top of the rudder. This
mounting plate was standard on most of the PA18 Super Cub in Germany.
On the sites of http://www.jmh-innovations.com , you can find different ACLs for rudder mount with different sockets.
The company is located near Dallas. This Anti-Collission lights are my design. They are the brightest
LED ACL you can find in the world.
with best regards
Juergen
