I trying to find a substitute for Spruce/Douglas fir for a wood i can find in my area.
This is for the spars on a kr2, and I'm thinking Walnut is my choice of wood.
Will this work, be safe? Of course ill make sure the wood is perfect.
Spruce, Sitka
Douglas-fir, Interior West
Ash, White
Oak, White
Walnut, Black
Cherry, Black
