The first Piper Cubs and similar birds where made out of standard steel tubing, I belive named 1100?!

In Europe we have a std. tubing made of) E235EN 10305-1

The steel used for aircraft construction is 4130, but by much would a tubing become heavier by using std, steel?

Is there factor of surface multiplication for this?
