Anyone like me? That is, I frequently watch YouTube videos on light airplane crashes. The number of monthly stall spin accidents is astounding. I'm interested in an aircraft with extreme stall spin resistance like the popular canard designs but I don't see these as a solution when off airport landings also account for a great many light aircraft accidents. How do we get the canards to land slower? We need stall spin resistance in combination with a low landing speed and a reasonable cruise speed for cross country flights. I think the Facetmobile FMX-4 was heading in the right direction. While not a speed demon it did exhibit a decent cruise speed on low power and Barnaby's FMX-5 showed to be a more efficient version and the now we anticipate the FMX-7. With all the Federal regulation in recent times, how long will it be before the Feds deem general aviation as too dangerous to the public. Training? Sure we can mitigate some of the problem with a higher level of training but we really need an aircraft with more inherent safety. With all due respect Mr Wainfan, the time for your brilliance to come forward to the public is now. I'm sure liability is a concern. Form an LLC or a C corp. I would pay five grand for the right to build one of your designs. I apologize for the rant but this topic has been on my mind since the 90's
