Hi everybody
I just read that having a swept rudder hinge lifts the nose when deflecting the rudder.
Wouldnt that be a strong argument for having a rudder hinge with negative sweep?
Could someone be so kind to point out what is the effect of having the rudder surface significantly above the axis of the aircraft on a high wing?
Wouldnt a such a rudder configuration also contribute to lift the nose when deflected?
