Is anyone interested in how to repair one of these where the switch no longer closes the circuit?
They were about $800 each 35 years ago when I needed to fix the one in my C210. I said BS to that and found a way to restore it to full function.
This picture is post-repair of one I recently acquired for one of my projects. Obviously the aluminum rivets were removed to do this.
These do not use standard, off-the-shelf, micro-switches.
