My revmaster has the 2 piece adjustable length pushrod tubes, after not running for 30 years it was puking oil from lower pushrod tube seals. adjusting them tighter did nothing to stem the flow of oil so new pushrod tube seals are needed. Also seeing alot of oil leaks at the cylinder / head studs and around the cylinder bases.

regarding the pushrod tubes, are the adjustable tubes worth keeping or should one reinstall the stock style pushrod tubes? if keeping the adjustable tubes, what is the correct procedure for tightening them?

regarding the cylinder bases and head studs, what is the preferred sealant to use for the head studs where they thread into the crankcase? and for the cylinder bases?

Thanks
Chris
