With a rearward spar (45% in my case) would any of you know a downside to skinning the wings like this X29? I'm thinking it would be a smart thing to do. Plans say to alternate grain direction top to bottom as most do, or just span-wise like a Falco and many others, but I'm thinking anything to help with avoiding structural divergence would be a safer way and smoother in rough air. Why would washing out under load ever be a bad thing? More prone to flutter maybe . . . ?The X-29 did some fiber orientation to get favorable bending-torsional coupling from the wing skins.

Any more input on this greatly appreciated . . .
