Hi All. I was a member here a few years ago. It looks like I'm building or completing another Sonerai 2LS. Just bought a project which is basically a fuselage and a set of completed wings. Apart from photos, bought it sight unseen. Previously way back in 2003 I scratch built a Jabiru 2200 powered 2LS which was the second one built with that powerplant. I flew it for 5 years then sold it in 2008 and built a 3300 powered Sonex. For the new Sonerai I'm thinking Jabiru 3300 or Rotax 912 this time round. Also thinking of a few mods like a bit of incidence on the wings and providing it doesn't change the look too much maybe raising the rear seat and turtledeck. I'll definitely be adding flaperons and a stabiliser trim jackscrew again.
Cheers
