I am new to designing and building aircraft, but I'm thinking about starting a project to design an aircraft as an outgrowth of a research project. My project is looking at accident causes and injury patterns in general aviation crashes. I am also a student pilot and would like to put my knowledge to good use to develop a safer GA aircraft.
