I had a conversation today with an engineer who is developing a Jaguar based aircraft conversion and later, possibly a Mercedes M275 based conversion aimed at the fighter replica markets. He has a nice, compact intake manifold for the Jag V-12 which sits down between the rocker covers, fitting twin throttle bodies. We'll probably be supplying ECUs for this to start a test program validating the engine and gearbox in the near future. He is working on a test stand now. Good news for folks who might want a more authentic sound for their airplanes.
