Thanks for posting the pics on your gallery. I'm thinking that I have the Force one hub assembly. It looks like a bearing that has been J B welden to the crank case. That is why I think it is a Great Plains hub.

Thanks again for the information. By the way what dwell do you normally run on you 1600 VW. I know you regularly run 4 k as far as the rpm.

I know that mine is at 25* and my WOT at climb out is around 3250 rpm.

I still have a my Super Vee conversion, buy from Monnett in 1975, brand new, never used. May be one day I'll sell it...

Hello smoothmat,
I read your last comment about posting the parts diagram and installation instructions for the Monnett Super Vee Conversion but was not able to find them on the post. I might not be looking in the right spot.
Thanks
mredmond

Sorry i have not posted them for the reason that they are monnet aircraft and might cause some issues being posted them on this site. I did, however happen to stumble over some info on photobucket. Check it out. You might have to download and zoom in

Sure do appreciate the information and help. I'm not as computer literate as am mechanically and have a hard finding some of the information out there.

Thanks again
