What is an LSA motorglider definition?
See here for example from this website: https://www.aeromarine-lsa.com/merlin-lite/ where he said:
“My observations:
We designed the new long-wing Merlin Lite to meet the FAA motor-glider definition. This is huge and not many pilots know what it means for them. “

Is this some category of LSA or just “experimental light sport-glider”?
I see Light-Sport aircraft definition in FAR 1.1 includes a “powered glider” that can have an auto feathering propeller and retractable gear.
What else defines a Light-Sport powered glider, if anything? (glide ratio?, sink rate, climb rate…)
