Hi folks,
I’m picking up a Kolb Ultrastar in a couple weeks that needs new front landing gear. The right one is broken. It’s a taildragger. Kolb no longer supports the Ultrastar so I’m looking for a pair of landing gear legs that can be incorporated into newly fabricated ones.
I’m told legs for the Kolb Firestar and other Kolb ultralights are good candidates as well as legs from other makes of ultralights. The image is a schematic of how other Kolb landing gear legs were incorporated in new gear for the red Ultrastar in the second and third image.
Does anyone have a spare pair of landing gear legs that may be good candidates that they’re willing to part with?
Or know of any sites or links where an affordable set may be available?
