Its time.

Looking for something fun to fly in Canada while my current build is on hold, maybe a Kolb or similar 2 seat ultralight. Any Pireps on nice flying ultralight designs to look out for, old and new? Electric doesn't seem viable yet on price or endurance unfortunately.

The possibility of folding wings and closed trailer, or garage at home option would be a plus, float capability a plus also. Willing to travel for the right plane (USA as well).

Budget: I'm borrowing money. Price would be dependent on value, some designs you can fly most VFR days that have wind and thermals giving greater opportunities to fly, hence more relative value, others need closer to ideal conditions which is ok also if you dont pay through the nose for it. I thought the Kolb (on paper) sounded like a good mix of both, but paper is one thing..

Open to all advice and suggestions if you can spare a few minutes

PS For the price of some ultralights I looked at the BC12D Taylorcraft, but (unfortunately) it wasn't a comfortable fit at 6'2" and 200lbs, my significant other is 130lbs,
