Hi guys, I need help narrowing down my search for my first aircraft purchase. I have hundreds of hours in dad's tail draggers but, as I noted on my other posting, I have not logged any time in 20 years. A lot has changed in the market in that amount of time. I need help. I'm in the market for a light sport experimental two place tail dragger. My price range is between $15 to $20 thousand. It must have folding wings and a huge cuteness rating. It must be able to handle a grass field of 1800 feet. I just love the round cowl Kit Fox and the Avid Flyer. I've been on Barn Stormers and Trade a Plane, but the lack of photos makes it hard for me to know what I'm looking at as far as configuration. Please let me know if there are any other designs I should be looking for that fall into the cute tail dragger class. And if there are any engines I should steer clear of, please speak your mind. I need all the help I can get.
Thanks!
