Well okay it's not all that easy. Need lots of time. But man! Oh man!

Part of MIT free online courses. Of course there's no credits offered and this wouldn't qualify you for a career in the field. But it should give us a good foundation of aeronautics and a better understanding of aircraft designs.

Great way to get a solid understanding of whatever field you're interested in.
All you need is time and a determination to stick with it. (A tutor or two wouldn't hurt either.)
