This kit started as a Classic Searey, purchased from a Searey dealer still in the crate. The new owner has converted the aircraft to the LSX during the construction. This is not a rebuild! Empty Weight is 990 Lbs, Gross Weight set at 1510 Lbs. ALL Builder Logs and Invoices for parts are included.
Parts ordered from the factory to convert the aircraft during the build process, included:
• Complete LSX Tail Section
• Vortex Generators with Strut Washout Plates
• Electric Gear
• LSX Bulkhead Upgrade
• Complete Pre-Upholstered LSX Interior Kit
• Frise Ailerons, with all upgrades inside the wing structure
In addition, this aircraft is equipped with:
• Rotax 914UL, 115 hp engine
• 28 Gallon Fuel Tank
• Engine Cowling
• Garmin 7” G3X Touch with remote transponder / com
• ADSB ready (not installed)
• IPad Mini Dock (IPad not included)
• Carbon Hull
• Grove Brakes
• Ivoprop 68” Magnum Medium, In-Flight Adjustable Prop
• TCW Technologies Back Up Battery
• ACI EFlap Controller
• AeroLED Pulsar EXP Wingtip Strobes / Nav Lights

• Aircraft is covered with the standard PolyFiber System, painted in a Polytone finish.
Damage History:
While flying into a grass airstrip in MN, the aircraft encountered wind shear on short final resulting in a broken landing gear leg and a bent boom tube. The aircraft was dismantled and trucked to The Searey Specialist in Florida for repair.
I (The Searey Specialist) replaced the Boom Tube and went through the aircraft with the owner present during the work. After completion of the work, the owner then test flew the aircraft.
Reason For Selling:
The owner is a rotorcraft CFI rated pilot, and he has expressed that his wife is more comfortable in helicopters then fixed wing and wishes he hadn’t sold his previous machine. Therefore, he has asked me to broker the Searey for him.
Aircraft is currently located at Valkaria Airport (X59) on the SpaceCoast of FL. Valkaria is just 10 miles south of Melbourne (MLB) or just over an hour from Orlando (MCO).
