Greetings :)

I'm wondering why there arent many planes that have the pilot fly prone. Is there something wrong with it? I've hered that a person can withstand a lot more G's in the prone position; I think it was up to 12.

I personaly dont think it would be very comfortable to put very many G's on your rib cage like that... so how about laying on your back? Or just sitting with a 30 degree inclanation and having your legs straight out in front of you? I sappose the forward visibility would be kinda ristricted by your knees... but you could move em' around couldnt ya? :p:

I guess thats another question: how come you cant just sit down, but have your legs out in front of you, insteed of below you like in a car? If you had a little more than a 30 degree inclanation you could see over you knees just fine couldnt you?

and I sappose the flatter you are (like laying down) the more G's you could take, right? Atleast compared to sitting straight up or something?
