Flap for UL. Does it worth the weight and complexity?

Thinking about using flaps on the UL I am working on paper. The primary motive is to reduce wing size/weight and in the process have a stronger wing as bonus. Since the ailerons are there, the penalty might not be much by turning it into a flaperon. What are you thoughts?
